Flipping the System

There are times when great changes are upon us as a species, and we are most definitely in the process of these changes right now, on a global scale. The first topic this blog will take a very deep dive into, are the social injustices committed everyday in the name of 'corrections'.  Without having any personal knowledge or experience firsthand, when someone hears the term 'Department of Corrections' they tend to have this innate belief that something is being fixed, righted or 'corrected'. However, when this term is applied to jails, prisons, the slammer, and many other such terms, people without first or even second-hand knowledge (of what really goes on behind locked doors) have no idea how completely these experiences can break a lot of people.
